If you look up Awa atua, it will bring up a book my friend Ngahuia Murphy wrote for her Masters but she also has a companion book called Waiwhero that is specifically for young women, girls coming into their waikura (period) time. It is about celebrating what makes us special and gives some traditional rituals that many are reviving.
